Really good beer! No complaints there. Nice building, the place looks great! However, we left sooner than we’d like because all the stools near the bar were so tall and narrow my wife’s short legs dingle dangled in the breeze. Lol

Do yourself a favor and get a crush! I normally only see menus feature blueberry frames, but Black Cap has a variety of fruity flavors - the blueberry is my personal Al favorite! We went on a Friday night and didn’t have an issue getting a table. You can tell it’s a local favorite for friends and families to meet up and enjoy a meal together! Pulled pork nachos were fantastic! My fiance and I ordered a shareable size, and I wished I hadn’t ordered an entree too. The nachos filled me up (and this is coming from someone that has a big appetite!) My grilled chicken sandwich wasn’t anything noteworthy, but the tater tots that came with it were deliciously crisp and my fiancé enjoyed his smokehouse burger. We’ll be coming back soon, and I’ll be sure not to order an entree! Parking is a bit limited, but currently fits the needs of the restaurant. But if more people find out about this hidden gem in Red Lion, they’re going to need additional parking!

Last time I was at Black Cap was 2017, beer was good...8 years later and a new location. Beer is still good. Food was amazing, highly recommend the Brussel sprouts and the Brisket egg rolls

My family and I visited Black Cap Brewing Company for the first time during the Red Lion Street Fair. When we arrived, it was practically empty, but it quickly filled up with at least six other tables. Despite being the only server on the floor, Dani was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and efficient. You would have never guessed she was juggling so many tables on her own! The food was fantastic—the brisket and pulled pork were flavorful and tender, and the chicken Caesar wrap was packed with taste. We had such a great first visit and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Have been looking forward to the opening for quite some time!!!! The beers were AMAZING! Service was very prompt and kind. Only minor critique was that the bar seats were very uncomfortable we were sliding off the chairs and they were very small. Otherwise SO happy that black cap is finally open! Cannot wait to go back!

Clean and open atmosphere. The food was fantastic and the perfect place for a date night or getting some drinks with friends. I tried some beer and cocktails, too, and it was all good. Stop by, support a local business, you won’t be disappointed.

Breakfast Brunch with Santa was amazing. The menu was superb with many delightful choices for all palates, including children. 10 adults in our group and our waitress kept up in a very hectic and festive atmosphere. I had the apple, onion and brie tart. Delicious. My entree was the crab cake eggs Benedict. It was amazing to say the least. From the crab meat, the egg, and the hollandaise sauce, a symphony of flavor. Our group made sure the wait staff knew were delighted. We mentioned to the management to please doors of these events and they assured us there will be more to come.

My husband and I wanted to try someplace new. We went here on Friday around 5pm and it wasn’t crowded and wasn’t loud. The atmosphere was nice. We ordered a dozen BBQ wings and they were so good. The sauce was nice and thick and it was a sweet BBQ sauce. We also ordered the shareable sized totchos (tater tot nachos). The tater tots were so good and the cheese sauce was mild but also great. We had it topped with brisket as well which was delicious. We had the jalapeños on the side and it had a drizzle of BBQ sauce and sour cream and it was topped with diced tomatoes. I think the totchos were $20 or a little more because of the brisket. Overall, the food was excellent but it was very very pricey.
